The high pressure injection of hydrogen into air at rest is studied using a hybrid pressure-based RANS solver with the focus being on the jet penetration depth and the Mach disk position. Simulations at supercritical conditions were carried out and the flow structure is compared to available empirical correlations from the literature derived for lower pressures. Derivations are analyzed and discussed, the constraints for the correlations are illustrated.
