The thermodynamic heating and cooling system, e.g. for a vehicle air conditioning system, has an eddy tube (10) with a tangential inflow opening and two outflow openings at the tube ends and at least one compressor. There is a pressure p at the tube ends and, in front of the tangential opening, there is a pressure of p2=p1. The compressor is arranged so that either it forces a compressible fluid into the tangential opening of the eddy tube at a pressure level p2, or two different compressors (11,12) have their suction sides at the tube side openings to generate an equal or similar suction pressure p1. The tangential inflow opening allows an isentropic pressure relief from p2 to p1 and is structured to end as a Laval jet. The compressors are powered by solar cells.
