The capability of a dual-manifold injector rocket engine scheme for deep throttling under extreme fuel-rich condition was demonstrated experimentally. And the dynamic response of the rocket engine to deep throttling was analyzed. Two phenomena, namely response delay and anti-regulation, were observed and studied. It was found that the supply pipe delay contributes most response delay when adjusted the oxygen, whereas the response delay mainly resulted from the slow evaporation process of liquid fuel when adjusted the fuel. The anti-regulation occurred when fuel was adjusted. But the adjusting of oxygen suppressed the anti-regulation when the effect of fuel adjusting was smaller than that of oxygen adjusting.
