摘要

A mass manufacturable thermoplastic based microfluidic droplet generator using rapid injection molding and solvent bonding method has been designed, fabricated and fully characterized in this work. Over the years there has been a large demand for the development of a mass producible, high throughput droplet generator aiding biomedical research and applications. In this work, thermoplastic chips with feature size as low as 20 μm have been efficiently fabricated using injection molding method which have successfully generated stable monodisperse droplets.
