摘要

The present work proposes a neurofeedback training system for the induction of an attention state aided by audiovisual stimuli on an experimental group of nine junior high school individuals between twelve and fifteen years old. A control group of 10 individuals with the same characteristics as the experimental group is defined as well to validate the training's efficiency. The auditory stimulation uses binaural audio whereas the Steady State Visually Evoked Potential and a Visual Support of the Attention State stimuli work as the visual stimulation. In order to obtain a quantitative reference, the attention capacity of every volunteer is evaluated with the Test of Variables of Attention before and after the training in both the control group and the experimental group. At the end of the training, the parameters which describe the time of permanence in an attention state show a tendency to grow throughout the development of the training, while the inattention time parameters do not tend to grow or decrease. The results of TOVA tests show an improvement of 24.49% in the control group and an improvement of 52.03% in the experimental group.
