Study on the construction of database of mineral resources and reserve space

We should construct a spatial database system for mineral resource reserve in Hebei province based on the database with the application of GIS spatial database technology based on the MapGIS software platform. Combined with the construction process of the database, this paper summarizes the problems and the solutions encountered in the construction of large database, and analyzes some techniques the departments of land and resources often use in basic geographic data to discuss with colleagues to further improve the quality and efficiency of database construction. Management of mineral resources reserves are an important basis of land resource management throughout the whole process of mineral resources survey, planning, management, protection and rational utilization. Establishment of mineral resource reserve space database system and the application of modern database and network technology, the realization of the informationization of attribute data and graphic data of mineral resources reserves, will strengthen and improve the management of mineral resources reserves, promote the management of mineral resources and the fundamental change of style, which has an extremely important role. With the rapid development of construction of Geographic Information System spatial data (GIS), the informationization and industrialization advancement of the land and resources speeds up obviously. Realizing land resources informationization, networking and information sharing represents the general trend. To actively promote the modernization of evaluation of the land resources survey, planning, management and protection and reasonable utilization, and realize the information sharing of land resources, through the completion of a series of basic database information system construction including "mineral resource reserve space database", we will be able to achieve the digital information resources to meet basic needs of national economic development and the management of land resources and improve the scientific and the modernized level of land resources.
