Identified features that need to be considered when developing virtual appliances in a Lab VIEW environment. The simplest system of phase-locked loop with the indication of its disadvantages is given. Based on the software package Elanix SystemView complex LabVIEW built a model of frequency synthesizer based on PLL and for the given parameters and the division ratio of 5000 (the synthesized frequency is 2500 MHz), the system model was simulated on a time interval of 500 μs and at 3,075,782 sampling points. It was found that the spectrum of the signal in the region of the synthesized frequency as a whole approaches the spectrum of the harmonic signal, but it should be noted that parasitic harmonics are multiples of 50 kHz, and a low relative level of the useful signal is slightly more than 38 dBm.
