摘要

Configuration files, based on substation configuration language (SCL) defined in IEC 61850 standard, are the basis of the secondary system of a smart substation. In the construction, renovation, expansion projects and other occasions of a smart substation, different versions of configuration files will be produced, and they frequently need to be compared to identify the changes or differences. Effective comparison methods, however, have not been put forward. Studying the file structure and comparison requirements of configuration files in projects, a comparison method based on file structure is proposed. Using this method, important information of configuration files will be totally and effectively compared. A comparison tool based on this method is developed. Applied in a 500kV smart substation extension project, the function and performance of this method is verified.
