The model of steering gear hydraulic system is established based on the analysis that the working principle of the pump-control type steering gear, and the model combined with Nomoto ship model, the influence of the interference for the marine navigation was fully considering, the design of the automatic steering control system was complete. The mathematical model of oil pump flow, the flow balance of hydraulic pressure system, the movement of bump rod, the marine motion under the action of the external disturbance, control was established On the basis of above all. MATLAB/ Simulink was used simulation for the above mathematical model, the emulational data of autopilot was obtained under the condition of adjustment navigation, change of rudder angle, the external interference, which was compared with the actual shipping data, the model is correct through verified. Finally, the autopilot operational interface was design through the vc + +, which was communicated with the simulation model that was established of the SUPERSIM simulation platform, the DMS2016 autopilot simulator was developed. At present, this simulator has been used in the crew training and undergraduate teaching.
