Acoustic Characteristics of Stops Pronounced by Kazahk Mandarin Learners

Based on the data of 20 Kazakh undergraduate Mandarin learners and 10 standard speakers' stop vocal corpus, under the framework of phonetic learning model and comparative analysis theory and the experimental phonetics, the acoustic characteristics of stops are analyzed for Kazakh learners and standard speakers of Mandarin in this paper. In addition, the data of the stop characteristics of 10 Uyghur learners are compiled, and the comparative experiments on their acoustic characteristics are carried out, so that the characteristics of the difference in the pronunciation for the three type of voices are obtained. These results are useful for providing learners with effective teaching-related reference information and providing reliable, correct parameters and pronunciation assessment for computer-aided language teaching systems (CALL).
