PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital audio system in which a variation of in acoustic characteristic among respective audio data is canceled even when a plurality of audio data are captured.;SOLUTION: The digital audio system is provided with a generation means for generating an acoustic characteristic control element (AEF) showing a volume level in each frequency by detecting the volume of the audio data with respect to a plurality of frequencies and a control means for respectively controlling the reproduction volume of the corresponding frequency on the basis of the acoustic characteristic control element (AEF) when reproducing the audio data. In such a digital audio system, since the reproduction volume of the audio data is controlled for each frequency on the basis of the acoustic characteristic control element (AEF), a variation in acoustic characteristics among the respective audio data is canceled.
