RUSSIAN ISS RESEARCH PROGRAM

摘要

The paper offers the Russian ISS Research Program implementation review. It highlights the main fields of the ISS utilization. These are fundamental research, space exploration technology tests on board the ISS, and the ISS utilization for humanity benefits. Examples of successful research are presented. Roscosmos cooperative programs with partner agencies are briefly described. Particular stress is laid on an importance of a mutually beneficial international cooperation, joint research investigations and experiments for improvement of the ISS utilization effectiveness. The paper also describes new plans on further development and modernization of the ISS RS, and launches of new ISS modules, the laboratory module in particular. The implementation of the plans will ensure a considerable increase in the ISS RS capabilities and the number of applied scientific research conducted on the ISS RS.
