Boundary controllability of a thermoelastic plate

Controllability properties of the thermoelastic plate with a curved middle surface are studied. By virtue of the Riemannian geometry approach and the multiplier technique, we show that one can simultaneously control the displacement of the plate exactly and the temperature approximately, provided with three controls exerted through the free boundary conditions of the plate equation and the Robin boundary condition of the heat equation, respectively.
