A trajectory tracking method which can be used in the complex mission profile is proposed in the maneuver flight of the plane-symmetrical vehicle. Depending on the velocity and position parameters of the standard trajectory, the direction of the velocity can describe the maneuver mode of the vehicle exactly. A universal principle of the trajectory subsection is formulated based on the direction of the velocity. In order to implement three-dimensional trajectory tracking of the complex maneuver flight, the guidance law is designed to guarantee the high precision of the position in the whole segment. The traditional non-maneuver flight can be treated as a simplified version. The simulations of characteristic trajectories are proposed to depict the effect and efficiency of the guidance law. The results show that the new trajectory tracking method can guarantee the higher precision of the position than the traditional method.
