The NREL and JRC Sensor Test Laboratories Instrumentation and Methods for Hydrogen Sensor Performance Verification

The NREL and JRC sensors laboratories have been collaboratingpn-the development of testing methodology since 2008. The laboratories have also partnered/with all major stakeholders in the hydrogen!community, including sensor developers and manufacturers, end-users(stationary and vehicle applications), and; standards and code development organisations. The results of the tests have been made available to the'hydrogen cpmnjiunity to enable further development of sensors, to provide guidelines for sensor use, andto support standard's and code development. This collaboration has produced nearly 50/publications (e.g., technicalreports, journal [articles, and presentations at national and international conferences) covering a range of topics from fundamental sensor performance to the proper use of hydrogen sensors. An overview of the NREL and JRC sensor test facilities, test methodology, and key results will-be presented.
