摘要

This paper provides a cryptographic technique that enhances the security performance of cognitive radio networks by mitigating primary user emulation attacks. The technique combines Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to provide integrity and authentication which in turn increases the security performance of cognitive radio networks. Performance metrics such as false alarm rate and miss detection probability has been considered for analysis. MATLAB R2010a tool has been used to analyze the technique.
