Cylindrical microstrip antennas are widely used, among other, applications, in mobile and satellite communication systems. While cylindrical microstrip antenna involving rectangular cylindrical patches have al-ready been studied well enough by the moment method in the spectral [1] and the spatial [2] domains, complex-shape patches fed by a microstrip line are still not sufficiently advanced. A rare exception is an impedance matched recessed feed cylindrical microstrip antenna (CML) analyzed in paper [3] by the moment method in the spectral domain using subdomain basis functions (rooftops).
