Synthetic aperture radars (SAR) are widely used for various applications. Efficient and accurate calculation of target scattering in these systems is of interest in both radar system design and target imaging. A full-wave time-domain analysis of target scattering in SAR system is presented. The analysis is performed by using a solver based on method of moments based in combination with fast Fourier transform and far-field excitation. Numerical results for scattering of an electrically large aircraft which is performed for 201 transceiver positions are presented in the paper.
