This paper, using the theory of parabolic equation method, analyses the impact of radar electromagnetic parameters and atmospheric waveguide parameters on the propagation characteristics by computer simulation combined with the simulated data and measured data, which is based on the research background of channel reciprocity and tropospheric waveguide. Through the simulation and comparison, the effect of non-reciprocity cannot be ignored when tropospheric waveguide are in horizontal inhomogeneous conditions. This study provides a reliable basis for adjusting the parameters of radar equipment, which has important theoretical guidance for improving the performance of the radio system under the complex electromagnetic environment.
