Lensed connector cleanliness specification development

This paper summarizes iNEMI (International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative) research related to the development of a cleanliness specification for multimode expanded beam connectors. The results of analytical calculations, optical simulation, and experimental data are in good agreement.
