Study on mobility technologies of space-ground integrated IP network toward GEO satellites

摘要

This paper analyzes the mobility management issues, which generated from forward-communication between spacecraft and ground user, in space-ground integrated IP network based on high earth orbit satellites. Then, centralized routing control method is proposed by analyzing the characteristics of topology structure of the current network in high earth orbit satellite system, solving the location management and automatic routing maintenance problems on account of high-speed movement of spacecraft. At last, after the simulation experiments system of high earth orbit satellite is built, the test of the centralized routing control method is conducted. Thus the results show that: routing handover success rate is 100%, and the average switching time is about 2.8 seconds. In conclusion, the mechanism we proposed fulfills the requirements of switching time and could provide technical reference for the construction of high earth orbit satellite system.
