Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTEthernet) introduces the porosity concept to integrate time-triggered (TT) and rate-constrained(RC) traffic. Due to the porosity characteristic of TT traffic in the TT-schedule, classic trajectory approaches are not fit for the worst-case analysis of the RC traffic in TTEthernet. This paper analyzes the holistic porosity distribution of TT traffic along the transmission path of considered RC frame and gives an extended trajectory approach for the worst-case end-to-end latency analysis of RC traffic. Experiments show that our model gives tighter latency bounds than the results from Network Calculus.
