The stability and accuracy of the train positioning system directly affects the safe operation of trains. A single sensor cannot meet the requirements of train positioning currently. When the train enters special environments such as tunnels or mountainous areas, the satellite positioning system is prone to signal blocking and interference, which cannot meet the stability requirements. The odometer positioning system has cumulative errors, which cannot meet the accuracy requirements. In this paper, the satellite positioning data are firstly map-matched with electronic maps to reduce their errors. Then, the satellite positioning data and odometer data are fused and filtered to obtain stable and reliable train positioning data.
