摘要

In this paper, from the thinking questions in document 1, projection of vector equation is one of the most error-prone knowledge among students. After finding out the cause of the error, This paper introduced in detail the projection principle of vector equation: both sides of the vector equations are projected on any axis, the algebraic values on both sides are equal. The specific applications of this principle in statics, kinematics and dynamics are listed respectively. This principle runs through the whole learning process of theoretical mechanics, Putting it in advance in statics, can greatly improve the teaching effect.
