摘要

(a) The cavitation device and the length-diameter ratio have some influence on the shape and stability of supercavitation. At the same length-diameter ratio, the slender body with flat head has better stability, and the supercavitation is bigger. Using the same type of cavitation device, the increase of the length-diameter ratio is beneficial to the stability of the cavitation. (b) About the change rule of dimensionless size along with cavitation number, the fitness between the result of empirical formula and experimental results is better, and the experimental value is more close to Savchenko's experience value. (c) The re-entering jet will lead to increased the supercavity size; the collision of the vehicle and supercavity also increased the size of the supercavity. So, all these factors will make Savchenko et al. empirical formula fails.
