The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of the materialbehavior of PUF on the dynamic response of CCS components underthe impact load at the wet drop test. To do this, at first, the PUFmaterial model was established to consider its dynamic behavior underthe impact load through the extensive FEA and experiments. And then,using the established material model of PUF, FSI analysis wasperformed to evaluate the dynamic response of the CCS and its validitywas verified by comparing with the experiment results. From the results,it was found that the dynamic response of CCS in the wet drop testssuch as the peak pressure and impact duration could be successfullysimulated with the PUF model proposed in this study. The dropsimulation results with the drop height and inclined angle show that thematerial behavior of PUF significantly affects the stress and thereaction behavior of CCS components rather than the peak and theduration of impact pressure.
