In this study, we have conducted a loading test on reinforced concrete(RC) beam specimens made of ductile-fiber-reinforced concrete(DFRC; DFRC is a kind of fiber-reinforced concrete using coarseaggregate.), to investigate the applicability of DFRC to structures. As aresult of this study, the RC beam specimens made of DFRC with atensile reinforcement ratio of 5.88% experienced a maximum loadshortly after the main reinforcement yielded, and immediately after that,the load dropped abruptly and fracture occurred in the specimens.
