The study focuses on examining the opportunity to apply the concept of social enterprise to strengthen teaching and learning for the upper secondary school level. This is part of the ongoing reforms in education that need to increase the level of flexibility and external participation when deploying the national curriculum, especially mathematics and sciences. Altogether, a total of nine upper secondary schools in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) were visited and examined. Overall findings on the visits are described. Then, possibility of adapting the social enterprise concept to help extend from project-based learning is discussed.
