This paper discusses the simulation platform ofcargo airdrop system based on 3D animation technology. Firstly,the model of the multi-level multi-chute airdrop system isintroduced. Then models of several key components areconstructed. An integrated 3D simulation system is designedbased on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and DirectX SDKtechnology. By comparison of simulation dates and experimentconclusion, it is validated that the proposed simulation iseffective and stable. In addition, the whole system is friendlyand is easy to operate.
