High Tempereature Crucible Production, Properties and Application

The Syncarb Z2 Crucible is an isostatic pressed clay bonded crucible. Morgan MMS has developed and achieved the highest standard in isostatic pressing of crucibles during the last 30 years. This includes also the mixing preparation out of very pure raw materials and additionally the drying and firing process. The main applications for this Syncarb Z2 Crucible are high temperature applications with furnace temperatures above 1000°C (1832℉). Due to the excellent thermal conductivity and high erosion resistance it is well performed for Zn distillation and melting copper and copper alloys in different types of furnaces, especially in fuel fired furnaces or in induction furnaces.
