Mercy Hospital Pre-Op and Post-Op Design Project

South Miami's Mercy Hospital is interested in improving its pre-op and post-op processes in its surgical department, by targeting any areas that causes any healthcare providers involved to be less effective and efficient in their contribution to the process, experience avoidable delays, etc. The pre-op area in the surgery department is used to prepare patients for surgery before they are sent to the operating room. The post-op is the area of the department patients go to after surgery, where they are given time to recover, receive patient education, etc.
