Rapid technology growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are reforming our way of life from its foundation. What do we realize for an affluent society using IoT and AI? It is a matter of great urgency to answer this question. The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) actually changed their policy in 2017, from “Digital First” to “IoT First” [1] as shown in Figure 1. METI hopes that IoT and AI will provide clear solutions to home appliance accident prevention and accurate plant maintenance by making good use of big data on network services.
