摘要

Escape path clearing system(EPCS) is an important part of ejectionlife-saving system. This paper proposes an adaptive control method for EPCS based onrisk evaluation contrary to the shortages of jettison-the-canopy ejection andthrough-the-canopy ejection. The feasibility, basic principle, critical technology,concrete scheme of this method are discussed in detail. The author concluded thatadaptive control method for EPCS can effectively reduce the probability of occupantinjury induced by ejection strike and can exert performance of ejection seat maximally,importantly, it can be achieved in engineering based on existing technology. Also, theauthor believes that along with technology developed the adaption level of escape pathclearing will be advanced further.
