摘要

This paper presented a study regarding the production of the few-layer graphene from the commercial graphite powder using the ball milling method. The ball-milled products were characterized using the thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA), the atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy. The ball-milled products have been identified to be the few-layer graphene, that suggest the ball milling method is an irrational approach leading to the production of the graphene. It is rational to conclude that the mass production of high-quality graphene using the environmentally-friendly ball-milling method can be accomplished further by optimizing the milling conditions, such as major approach to enhance energy input using the high-energy ball-milling technology.
