摘要

A high fidelity simulation is preferred for itsremarkable accuracy for engineering problems.However, it requires long computational time,which leads to significant overhead andeventually hinders its application to designstudy. To overcome such impediments, areduced-order method is utilized. Reducedordermethod can effectively represent asimulation output as a linear combination of abasis and weighting coefficients on a lowdimensional space. To construct a reducedordermodel, this research adopts properorthogonal decomposition to collect anempirical orthogonal basis and ordinaryKriging interpolation to predict weightingcoefficients. Afterwards, this research appliesreduced-order methodology to an aviationenvironmental design tool for the rapidprediction of arrival and departure noise.
