COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF AIR FLOW IN THE COMPRESSOR OF THE GTD-350 ENGINE

摘要

This work illustrates the possibility of applyingthe numerical calculation to illustrate physicalphenomena and to calculate the values ofairflow characteristics in the axial compressorof the GTD-350 engine. For the purpose of thestudy two types of simulation software wereused: Solid Works Flow Simulation [3] andAnsys Fluent [4]. A 3D model of the compressorwas prepared based on the measurements inSolidWorks. This model was then tested insimulations in SolidWorks and Ansys followedby an analysis of the simulation results.
