THE WAYS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN IN-FLIGHT AND GROUND-BASED SIMULATION FOR EVALUATION OF HANDLING QUALITIES AND PILOT TRAINING

摘要

The problem of disagreement between groundbasedand in-flight simulation is solved by themodification of technique for experimentalinvestigations and by the modification ofsimulator’s subsystems. The modified techniqueconsists of a set of procedures including:preliminary definition of Cooper-Harpermetrics, usage of special input signal,conduction of precise tracking tasks, evaluationof flying qualities in each channels and totalflying qualities, etc.The influence of visual system (quality ofthe generated image, stereoscopic effect) areconsidered too.
