摘要

Roundabout is alternative to Signalized Intersection. Because Roundabout doesn't have unnecessary delays due to signal and less weaving than signalized intersection. For this reason, Roundabout has been installed all around the world recently. Roundabout is giving priority rule to rotating vehicle in rotated roadway. This study can help safer and more efficient driving conditions using V2V(Vehicle-to-Vehicle) communication and V2I(Vehicle-to-Infrastructure) communication from cooperative ITS(Intelligent Transport System) for inexperienced drivers, woman and elderly drivers having difficulty of judging entry point and unaccustomed drivers about roundabout operating principle. And this study offers optimal speed under V2V and V2I when the drivers enter rotated roadway in roundabout to reduce delay time and to improve safety measures and efficiency measures.
