This paper discusses the various pedagogical practices used to cover different aspects of the topics of a course in the second year of the undergraduate course in electrical engineering which was hitherto taught in a conventional way. It presents details of student participation in enhancing the learning outcomes through activities and projects. It also provides evidence to the proposition that increase in course delivery methods has a proportional impact on the number of program outcomes addressed by the course. The summative assessment methods used to assess their learning, the evaluation results of their outcome attainment are also presented. Finally a comprehensive analysis of their attainment is made and compared with that obtained through a conventional practice by the same course instructor during the previous year. From the results, a conclusive evidence to the enhancement of their holistic learning is successfully obtained.
