MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AND AN OVERSEAS DEPLOYMENT, A CASE STUDY OF THE TORAY INDUSTRIES

The purpose of this paper is to survey and analyze management strategies of Toray Industries and an overseas deployment of the economical technology transfer in Southeast Asia.We examine the financial statements and history of firm, and interviewed managers.The features of the globalization of Toray Industries were as follows.1.Long-term strategy 2.Area adhesion 3.The contribution to local society 4.Confidential relation 5.Local talented people's training 6.Sharing of corporate philosophy.We would like to investigate the economical technology transfer to the Thailand and neighboring countries by Japanese companies.
