Lithium-sulfur batteries are promising in terms of reducing their cost and increasing specific energy as compare with other types of the Li batteries. The cost reduction is possible due to the low price and availability of sulfur. The increasing the energy is based on to the high specific electrochemical discharge capacity of the sulfur material, which is 1,680 mAh/g. The goal is that in the future, lithium-sulfur batteries can replace modern lithium-ion batteries. In the past few years, great progress has been made in the development of lithium-sulfur batteries. The stability of the cycling he sulfuric electrodes is achieved by introducing nanostructured carbon materials in cathode mass, and introducing the additives in electrolytes This article will consider an innovative method of manufacturing sulfuric electrodes based on the method of impregnation of a porous carbon matrix with sulfur solution.
