摘要

To simulate the pedestrian crossing, this paper studies the modifications of social force model by applying the concepts of anisotropy and relative velocity. At the same time, the correcting algorithm is put forward by considering the time complexity of simulation. The parameters for modified social force model are standardized by researching the characteristics of pedestrian crossing. Therefore, the modified social force model for pedestrian crossing is established. The result of simulation indicates that compared with classic social force model, the modified social force model presented in this paper can reflect the tendency of pedestrian crossings' macro parameters much more veritably. Additionally, the computational efficiency of the model is improved to a large degree. This implies that modified social force model can simulate pedestrian crossing much more effectively and accurately. And it also plays an important role in studying the dynamic characteristic of pedestrian crossing.
