Accurately distinguishing radar images, which might be affected by rainfall, could improve the accuracy of inversion of wave parameters under x-band navigation radar. This is also of great significance for the construction of maritime powers. In this paper, the echo differential value of the radar image space domain is studied. It was found that the average data of the echo differential value of the radar image sea wave detection area was significantly different between rainfall and non-rainfall. The distance of half wave wavelength of the wave was used for the calculation of the echo differential value. And taking the mean value of the echo differential value within the selected range in the wave detection area as the parameter, and the regional rainfall interference detection was performed on the radar image sea wave detection area. Comparing the experimental results with the actual results of the original navigation radar data proves the feasibility of this method.
