In traditional agricultural planting, users or managers rely mainly on human perception to obtain agricultural data. This method requires the loss of a large number of laborers. The survey results have a large gap due to their individual abilities. Aiming at the requirements of apple orchard in China on environmental parameters, this paper proposed an apple orchard monitoring system based on wireless sensor network. Based on CC2530 chip, the establishment of wireless sensor network was completed. Use IOT, ZigBee wireless transmission and sensor-related technology to accurately obtain environmental parameters. By modularized design and the use of jumping between ZigBee networking, we collected and transmited information about temperature, humidity, infrared and lighting parameters in apple orchard. Experiments showed that the apple orchard environment monitoring system covered a wide area, fast and stable transmission data, low power consumption, high practical value.
