摘要

This research sheds light on the developments that took place after fishermen living on ebune (houseboats) began living on land.Because there have been cases in which the spatial composition of ebune was directly transferred onto the planar composition used in the living environments on land, this study conducted a fieldwork and analysis to understand the development of the fishermen's houses and villages that evolved from ebune, the layout of the dwellings, and their spatial composition, for those of which that have not yet been clarified.Tsuneichi Miyamoto's Nihon Bunka no Keisei (The Development of Japanese Culture) discusses the relationship between boat dwellings and residences built on land, but a detailed fieldwork has not yet been conducted. This research seeks to clarify the impact of the spatial composition of ebune upon that of the fishermen's dwellings.
