Depending upon how the technology is implemented, the vehicle's driver may simply receive a warning should there be a risk of an accident or the vehicle itself may take pre-emptive actions such as braking to slow down. V2V technology represents the next great advance in saving lives. This technology could move us from helping people survive crashes to helping them avoid crashes altogether-saving lives, saving money, and even saving fuel thanks to the widespread benefits it offers
