摘要

In this paper, a practical 3-dimensional numerical model was proposed for prediction of ground settlement in slurry shield TBM tunneling. The model was developed using commercial finite element program PLAXIS 3D, where the volume loss process around shield TBM was modeled by implementing ground loss estimation schemes of Gap model. For weathered granite ground conditions, a series of numerical simulations were carried out and the predicted results were discussed by comparing with 2-dimensional solution.
