摘要

The accuracy of ray-optical propagation modeling heavily depends on the quality of the used input data. Accurate input data leads to accurate propagation predictions. One of the biggest drawbacks in the area of small cell propagation is the lack of 3D building information on large scales. Therefore, a novel method of heuristically creating artificial 3D building plans based on 2D building contours is proposed. This allows including the impact of walls, windows and doors on the cell's foot print in a realistic way.
