Exploring empirical semantic comparison assistance

摘要

In case-based development, design modifications based on object-oriented system representations rely on a knowledge base. In this paper, we present a preliminary case study on estimating the switching costs between previous and new designs leveraging simulation information, either without knowledge bases or reducing the need for them. A process is demonstrated to achieve the estimations through an example EPS (Electrical Power System).
