Objective A Laparoscopic Simulation Training on improving basic skills of endoscopic surgery is evaluated. Methods eight test projects are set, include three simple projects, three complex projects, and two comprehensive projects were used to compare the laparoscopic surgical techniques between untrained students (the control group) and students who were trained using above training device 50 h (the experimental group). Result Significant difference existed between the two groups in laparoscopic skills. The experimental group had more score than the experimental teams in simple and complex subjects, as the result of comprehensive projects. Conclusion A Laparoscopic Simulation Training has significant training effect in using laparoscope surgical instruments and the basic operation technology of laparoscope.
